Lee Olsen is the owner and president of Affordable Business Systems, and is a master computer technician. In fact, he is the one who put my complex computer system together. Thanks, Lee! Lee Olsen has also been in service for our community, coral reefs sanctuary, and marine environment, the ocean. Lee served as president for the San Diego Council of Divers three times, during which he lobbied for and enacted the cleanup of the Point Loma Kelp Beds, by petitioning the city of San Diego and the environmental control board, on the problem of the Point Loma sewage outfall. Lee has also served twice as chairman of the PCUPC - Pacific Coast Underwater Photographic Championship, when it was in its heyday. Lee is seen here modeling as "the Diver" in the August 2000 PCUPC, where we took second placed in the Advanced category.

Lee's nickname is "the Hungry Diver", for he reads a reef like a menu. He is always looking for fish, lobster, scallps, and abalone. Abalone, Lee's favorite, is an edible shellfish haveing a shell lined with mother-of-pearl. Conservation: Lee's most noble acts were in marine conservation, at the Point Loma Kelp beds. While president of the San Diego Council of Divers, lee started and ran the abalone planting program. Lee Olson and other divers planted over 60,000 abalone in the Point Loma Kelp Beds for future generations to enjoy. My hat goes off to you, Lee.
